As passionate cyclists, we are well aware of the benefits of indoor cycling, but we are also familiar with its challenges, such as monotony and discomfort from sitting. Our years of experience in cycling have inspired us to take on a mission: to make the indoor cycling experience for our community more enjoyable and realistic through innovative products—all at a fair price.
With this vision in mind, we developed the first version of the Leeze Boom Board in 2020, which features an innovative spring mechanism that allows for individual adjustment of the suspension. We have protected this unique concept with a utility model. In addition to the subjective feedback from our test riders, the results of saddle pressure measurements were also incorporated into the development process to objectively demonstrate the benefits of the Leeze Boom Board.
Following the overwhelming feedback on the first version of the Leeze Boom Board, we have been working intensively since spring 2021 to further develop the board. With the support of Professor Eric Helter, who conducted FEM simulation analyses, we optimized the material of the Leeze Boom Board to perfectly adapt it to the specific stresses of indoor cycling. The result is the Leeze Boom Board Pro, made from 100% recycled polypropylene reinforced with glass fiber. This material not only offers excellent riding characteristics but also contributes to environmental protection in two ways: It conserves resources by avoiding the use of new fossil-based raw materials and reduces plastic waste that might otherwise end up in landfills or the oceans.
In addition to the Boom Board Pro, we also offer the Boom Desk and matching accessories —so everyone can find the perfect indoor cycling setup. True to the motto “Summer heroes are made in winter,” we’re passionate about continuously improving your indoor cycling experience.
Since mid-2024, Leeze Boom has been fully integrated into Leeze GmbH, allowing it to benefit from pooled resources and enhanced innovation—and thereby deliver an even more exceptional indoor cycling experience. Meanwhile, the valuable contributions of co-founders Christoph Rahmann (digitalization expert) and Dr. Daniel Westmattelmann (former time trial specialist), who are now primarily focused on other responsibilities, remain fondly remembered in our Boom Story.
