The next stage of evolution
The Leeze PRO Series replaces the EVO Series, which was developed in 2018.
The EVO WASO set new standards in aerodynamics and crosswind stability. The PRO Series builds on this approach—with structural optimization, modern tire standards, new material technology, and significantly reduced weight.
Since 2012, we have been developing wheels with a clear goal in mind: maximum performance under real-world racing conditions.

The PRO Series is the result of racing experience, thousands of test kilometers, and consistent refinement over several years. Developed on the track, analyzed in a digital wind tunnel, and optimized for efficiency at racing speeds.


D2R Pro Carbon
Leeze PRO Rims
The Leeze PRO Series features newly developed Aero-Carbon rims made from T700/T1000 carbon, as seen in the D2R . This composition enables a particularly lightweight yet structurally stable design for demanding racing conditions.
Compared to the previous EVO WASO rim, the PRO rim is 60 grams lighter, yet 2 mm taller and wider. The redesigned rim shape improves aerodynamic efficiency and ensures an optimized transition between the tire and rim for modern tire widths.
Visually, the PRO rims stand out clearly from the matte BASIC wheels thanks to their high-gloss Mirror-Gloss carbon finish. The painted Leeze decals are available in either subtle black or contrasting white and highlight the premium quality of the PRO Series.

Leeze PRO Carbon Rims
The rim shape was digitally designed at Leeze D2R Aero Development and optimized through extensive simulations. The goal was to create a rim that offers aerodynamic advantages at high racing speeds while also providing stable handling in crosswinds.
The PRO rim is available in three different versions, each designed for specific applications:
- 23 mm hooked rim width (road) – aerodynamically optimized for modern 28–30 mm road tires
- 25 mm Hookless Inner Rim Width (Allroad / AR) – designed for wider road and allroad tires from 32 mm
- 28 mm hookless rim width (Gravel / GX) – designed for gravel tires wider than 45 mm

Leeze PRO VR Hub
The hub design has been specifically tailored to the requirements of the CX-Carbon spokes. Oval-shaped spoke holes reduce torsional stress in the spoke head area and improve the structural stability of the system. The oval-shaped spoke holes precisely align the Aero-Wing shape of the SAPIM CX-Carbon spokes with the direction of travel. As a result, the profile is positioned at the aerodynamically optimal angle to the airflow, reducing drag.
The 2:1 spoke pattern used increases stiffness on the brake side of the front wheel and ensures control in any riding situation.

Leeze PRO HR Hub
The hub design has been specifically tailored to the requirements of the CX-Carbon spokes. The oval-shaped spoke holes precisely align the Aero-Wing shape of the SAPIM CX-Carbon spokes with the direction of travel. This ensures that the profile is positioned at the aerodynamically optimal angle to the oncoming wind, thereby reducing drag.
The 2:1 spoke pattern used increases stiffness on the drive side of the rear wheel and ensures direct power transfer under heavy loads.
At the same time, the freewheel is deliberately designed to be easy to maintain and compatible with existing Leeze BASIC freewheels.
Leeze Pro Technology
Sapim CX Carbon Spokes
Carbon spokes significantly alter the ride feel of a wheel. They combine high lateral stiffness for direct acceleration with noticeable vibration damping.
Leeze PRO wheels are built with SAPIM CX carbon spokes —a new generation of high-performance spokes designed for racing. The carbon body combines low weight with high structural stiffness, enabling exceptionally efficient power transfer.
The spokes feature an aerodynamic Aero-Wing shape with a 2:1 aspect ratio (3.0 × 1.5 mm). This flat profile reduces drag compared to traditional round spokes and improves the aerodynamic efficiency of the entire wheel system—especially at high speeds.
Weighing just about 2.9 g per spoke and boasting a tensile strength of over 3500 N/mm², CX-Carbon spokes combine low weight with high stability. The patented combination of a carbon body and steel head ensures long-lasting durability even under the high stresses of racing.
Combined with the new Leeze PRO hub and the 2:1 spoke pattern, this creates a wheelset that optimally balances aerodynamics, structural stiffness, and low rotating mass.
