I. Information on Battery Disposal according to the German Battery Act (BattDG)
In connection with the sale of bicycles, bicycle components, and accessories that may contain batteries or rechargeable batteries (e.g., electronic shifting systems, control units, or sensors), we are legally obliged to inform you of the following:
Batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. As an end-user, you are legally obligated to dispose of used batteries and rechargeable batteries separately from unsorted municipal waste and to return them to a suitable collection point.
You can return used batteries and rechargeable batteries free of charge after use:
at municipal collection points,
at retail stores,
or to us as part of our legal take-back obligation.
Returns to us are limited to batteries and rechargeable batteries that we currently stock or have stocked as new batteries in our product range, as well as to quantities typically generated by end-users.

The symbol of the crossed-out wheeled bin indicates that batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of with household waste.
Batteries containing harmful substances are additionally marked with the following chemical symbols:
Pb = Lead
Cd = Cadmium
Hg = Mercury
Where technically feasible, please remove non-permanently installed batteries or rechargeable batteries before disposing of the product and return them to a suitable collection point.
II. Information on the Return of Electrical and Electronic Equipment according to the German Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG)
Insofar as we distribute electrical or electronic equipment, we are obliged to inform you about the return options for used devices.
Electrical and electronic equipment marked with the symbol of the crossed-out wheeled bin must not be disposed of with household waste. These devices must be collected separately and submitted for proper disposal.
As an end-user, you are legally obligated to return used devices for separate collection from unsorted municipal waste.
You can return used devices free of charge after use:
at municipal collection and take-back points,
or to us as part of our legal take-back obligations.

Where possible, please remove old batteries, rechargeable batteries, or lamps from used devices before returning them, provided they are not permanently installed, and dispose of them separately.
If personal data is stored on used devices, you are responsible for deleting it before returning the device.
The take-back is carried out to the extent required by law and for quantities typical of household use.
