D2R perfected – The unmatched price-to-aerodynamics ratio

D2R Aero Development: With the WASO line, we are fully leveraging the capabilities of the Leeze D2R Development team led by Prof. Dr. Eric Helter. We have run various high-performance computers for hundreds of hours to ensure that every wheelset is maximally optimized for its intended use in terms of aerodynamics. We now also utilize VR-based wind tunnel simulations and AI for this purpose, thereby ensuring the highest WASO standards in future generations of wheels as well. 

d2r Development

Optimized wheel weight: Thanks to extremely lightweight components that are perfectly matched to one another, we achieve record-breaking weights. We also continue to rely on the proven, stiffness-enhancing combination of Sapim CX-Ray spokes and the slightly thicker CX-Sprint knife-blade spokes for the drive side of the rear wheel.

Leeze Labs

Maximum stiffness: Through extensive FEM analyses, we have achieved exceptionally high stiffness in our wheels despite their extremely low weight. Not only were the fiber orientation, fiber volume fraction (ratio of fibers to resin), and fiber count precisely determined in advance, but they were also accurately implemented using an innovative braiding process.
