Florian Otterpohl and Frank Decker – Founders and Managing Directors
Leeze – founded out of a love for sports
With considerable entrepreneurial foresight, Florian and Frank have jointly overseen and managed the conception and development of the Leeze wheel portfolio for over 12 years. They are motivated by their jointly formulated mission: to develop the best wheels for everyone – at fair prices.
As a business economist, Florian is responsible for Leeze's overall corporate direction and the overarching management of the Leeze product portfolio. Florian is an active cyclist himself, leads the Leeze Factory Racing Team, and thus integrates the 'Customer First' development approach into wheel concept development. His deep understanding of current customer requirements and market trends forms the foundation of the Leeze wheel portfolio.
Frank brings a technical perspective to wheel development. With a background in industrial engineering, he is responsible for the technical design and development of the Leeze wheel portfolio through to market readiness. Drawing on his technical expertise, his focus is on component integration and their optimization within Leeze wheel systems.
Nevertheless, the D2R approach allows us to accelerate development cycles, as iterative changes to wheel profiles can be carried out in the virtual environment in a time- and cost-efficient manner.

Leeze Factory Racing
As passionate cyclists, we have been firmly established in the cycling world with the Leeze Factory Racing Team since 2014. On the race course, we are the harshest critics of our Leeze products and continuously optimize them—to meet the highest standards of performance and quality. Today, the 14 male and 5 female riders are among the most successful racing teams in the Münsterland region—the maximum performance of Leeze equipment forms the foundation of this success.
