Unlike standard bearings, CERAMICSPEED bearings feature silicon nitride ceramic balls —the manufacturing and polishing of these balls can take up to 70 days. The result: More than 10 times longer service life and smooth operation.

All CERAMICSPEED bearings we use are manufactured with dimensions specifically tailored to our wheels. To this end, Ceramicspeed regularly measures our hubs in their assembled state to determine the optimal size of the ceramic balls used. This is done in 4µm increments (which corresponds to one-fifteenth of a hair). This allows CERAMICSPEED to ultimately achieve a level of smoothness unmatched by any other manufacturer, thereby saving you energy on the bike.
